I have run into this issue and I believe it has to do with the scale of the label image uploaded to the ebay system. Even after manually entering the correct tracking number for the return label the system will auto-correct it to some other number that isnt the tracking number. If I downloaded the label in 4x6 label format and upload that pdf into the return system I get this issue. I believe you need to save the printable label image to a 8.5x11 page format in order for the returns system to correctly populate the return label. Ive contacted CS several times regarding this issue and have had no resolution to this issue. As a buyer receiving the return label so long as the address coincides with the shippers original return address， Locked Discussion interactions are currently paused. RETURN TRACKING DIFFERENT FROM LABEL Hi， I started a return process for an item that was completely different than what I bought. I got an automated UPS shipping label and sent the package back to seller. When I go to mark as shipped， and you get a receipt for dropping off the package I dont think you would have any issues.  ，   Due to the age of this thread， eBay automatically generates the tracking # but it is completely different from the # I got on my UPS receipt when I shipped the item. eBay won’t let me change the tracking number on there. Should I still go ahead and Mark it as shipped even if it’s different tracking #?
