you just press down the left mouse button over the deck then move the mouse backwards and forwards while keeping the button pressed down， you can use the mouse. In the latest demo version， but for best results you really need some kind of DJing hardware (like a midi controller or timecoded vinyls). :) 。
when you want the music to continue， i think what aphaquake is trying to say is that the keyboard can't be used for scratching。
